Who Is Collaborative Law For?

You should consider using the collaborative process when your true interests and goals include any of the following:

  • You desire a private, civilized, and dignified resolution of the issues.
  • You want the ability to control the process and the result rather than leaving the outcome to a judge or a jury.
  • You want to be able to reduce stress and lower costs and fees.
  • You want to create a solution that is in the best interest of the children or other ward.
  • You want to create and implement the best possible coparenting relationship under the circumstances.
  • You desire to preserve relationships with family, friends, and business associates.
