There is no way around the fact that divorces create difficult circumstances for families. Emotions run high; clients fear the worst about their financial futures; children sometimes bear the brunt of their parents’ anger and frustration. Litigation makes matters worse.
MaryAnn has been invited to be the Communications Coach for more than 80 collaborative cases. She also is part of a training team, New Paradigm Training, who offer training for attorneys, financial professionals and mental health professionals. She is a member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas, the International Association of Collaborative Professionals, Global Collaborative Law Council, Denton County Collaborative Professionals, and Collaborative Solutions practice group. MaryAnn is a former teacher and has had a private practice in family and individual therapy for 16 years. She is also a Parenting Coordinator and Parental Facilitator working with attorneys and their clients to work toward agreements between clients outside of the courtroom. Additionally, she completes family adoption social studies and custody dispute social studies.
